About Us

We Love the Gatlingburg/Pigeon Forge Area

We have been visiting Gatlinburg, Pigeon Forge, & The Smoky Mountains most of our adult lives. After my wife and I retired we purchased our Vacation Rental Home away from home, 'Lover's Lookout' in 2014.  We love the time we are able to spend in our 1 br, 1 ba cabin. It has approximately 1300 sq. ft. with living area upstairs and game room down. It's located just minutes from Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge. In 2015 we purchased our 1 br, 1ba studio condo w/loft bedroom, 'Lover's Lookout Too'. It is located minutes from Gatlinburg atop one of highest mountains in the area.  And, the views are spectacular.  We also invite guest to visit when we are not staying there.       Our New Addition

      'Beary's Love' Cabin

      Purchasing the lot adjoining our 'Lover's Lookout' cabin property in May 2017, My wife and I got busy with engineers for design specs in late 2017. We secured financing for our project in March of 2018, contracted a builder and acquired our Building Permits. Finally getting started on what ended up being a long and very difficult challenge dealing with contractor and material shortages and cost increases of materials from tariffs. 

      Construction began May of 2018. 

      Clearing the debris and rubble from the previous cabin, burned in the Gatlinburg Fires of November 2016, gave us a good start for our new foundation, retaining walls, flooring , framing, siding, roofing, outdoor trim, indoor tongue & groove, indoor trim, and flooring, we added appliances and our final touches by March of 2019. 

      Passing Final Inspection and we added  our 'Beary's Love Cabin'  in May of 2019.
